Confidentiality

Drawing protection as standard

Drawings and models are treated as confidential from the moment they arrive, whether or not a separate agreement is in place.

On arrival

Files are logged and treated as confidential. They are used only to review and manufacture your order.

No onward disclosure

Designs are not shared with third parties and are not reused for any other customer or purpose.

No publication

No customer name, logo, drawing or application is published on this site.

NDA on request

A mutual non-disclosure agreement can be signed before files are transferred.

How to put an NDA in place

The sequence matters: the agreement should be signed before the drawing is sent.

Request the NDA
State the requirement when making first contact, or send your own agreement for review.
Agreement reviewed and signed
Either party’s standard form is acceptable if the terms are reasonable.
Files transferred
The drawing is sent after the agreement is in place.
Engineering review
The review proceeds under the terms of the signed agreement.

What the agreement covers

Plain terms, without legal padding.

  • Drawings, models and any technical data supplied
  • The fact of the enquiry and the identity of the customer
  • Process information exchanged during the review
  • Production details and quantities
  • Any documentation issued against the order
CONFIDENTIALITYEven without a signed agreement, files are handled as confidential. The agreement exists to remove doubt, not to create the obligation.
